Newton, MA – December 4, 2019 – Jill Wetmore, CMCA, AMS, a 20-year veteran in the property management industry, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, starting January 1, 2020. Since joining Barkan Management Company in 2015, Wetmore has been the General Manager for Nouvelle at Natick Residences, a 215-unit luxury condominium community in Natick, MA.
“I have been an active member of the CAI for more than a decade,” said Wetmore, “and I have participated in many different events – from seminars at expos to volunteering at the annual golf tournament. Through it all, I have learned so much and have made great connections with people in various sectors of the industry. As a board member, I look forward to serving the needs of the CAI-NE chapter, including helping to expand manager membership through continued education so that we can all make a positive difference for the residents in the communities we serve.”
In 2018, Wetmore co-chaired the Manager’s Committee and was instrumental in bringing in speakers to address changing trends and hot button topics in the industry. She will continue to remain active on that committee.
CAI is a membership organization that provides education and information for condominium homeowners, board members, and industry professions with the mission to improve the operations, management, and quality of condominium living. The New England chapter serves professionals in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
