Newton, MA – April 15, 2020 – Barkan Management Company, an industry-leader in residential property management with 190 properties (29,000+/- units) under management in seven states, is pleased to announce that Andrew Hughes, CMCA has joined the company as a Senior Account Executive.
Hughes worked for Barkan from 2012-2015 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. He returns to the company after serving as a Regional Vice President with The Dartmouth Group from 2015-2019. Charged with overseeing the company’s South Shore office, Hughes was responsible for six properties (1200 units) and supervised multiple portfolio managers and site level employees.
At Barkan, Hughes has assumed an initial client portfolio that includes Kings Way Condominium (a 456-unit community in Yarmouthport, MA), The Vendome (a 138-unit condominium in Boston’s Back Bay), and the Glass Factory Condominiums (a 104-unit community in Cambridge, MA). He is also working on various other assignments.
Hughes holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Assumption College. He has earned industry certificates from IRES and Grace Hill.
