TYSONS CORNER, VA – January 10, 2019 – Barkan Management, an industry-leader in residential property management with 174 properties under management in eight states, continues to expand its reach in the Washington DC region, adding six properties to its portfolio in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Barkan will provide a full service management services to Residences of Discovery Square, a 180-unit condominium community and its sister community, Discovery Square Condominium, a 198-unit condominium community (both located in Herndon, VA); Lakeview at Brandywine, a 258-unit homeowners association located in Brandywine, VA, and Liberty Row Condominium, a 60-unit condominium located in Alexandria, VA. Of particular note are contracts for The Promenade, a 1071-unit luxury cooperative located in Bethesda, MD and Island Creek Community Association, a 1043-unit master association, located in Alexandria, VA. With the addition of these very large contracts, Barkan now manages 45 client communities in the Metropolitan Washington DC area, representing approximately 10,000 units, including condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowner associations.
