Tysons Corner, VA – July 2020 – The Barkan Companies, a privately-owned group of five related real estate businesses with expertise in full-service property management, accounting and financial services, development consulting, and affordable housing compliance, is pleased to announce that Joycelyn Bazemore, CMCA, AMS, PCAM has been promoted to Senior Account Executive.
Bazemore joined Barkan in 2013 as General Manager of The Harborview Towers in Baltimore, MD. In that role, she oversaw a $9 million renovation project while managing the luxury two tower high-rise condominium property. In 2016 she was promoted to an Account Executive at Barkan Management, where she oversaw a portfolio of community associations including up to 9 properties. Bazemore’s client portfolio includes The Berkeley, The Williamsburg, Holly Hill, River Park Mutual Homes, Carrollsburg, A Condominium, Alexandria House, and The Promenade.
Bazemore holds a B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland – University College. In 2016, she achieved Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation, the highest professional recognition in the industry.
